Tyrone Golf Cart Map
Local golf cart rules, official map and sources for Tyrone, Georgia.
Tyrone offers a different golf-cart experience from nearby Peachtree City. It is officially a “share the road” community, with carts permitted on most streets posted at 35 mph or below as well as designated multi-use paths, making some local trips possible by cart rather than car. The network is still expanding: the Laurelwood Connector is an active 2026 multi-use-path project, with other proposed connections shown on the town’s October 2021 path map.

Before you drive
The Town of Tyrone says golf carts may use designated multi-use paths and most streets with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less. Check the Town's current guidance and ordinance for conditions before driving.
Practical rules
Registration and permits
The Town says registration is handled through the Police Department at 950 Senoia Road during its published hours. The page lists a resident permit fee, says non-resident and transfer fees vary, and asks for a bill of sale plus the cart's manufacturer, serial number, year and color. Confirm current details before applying.
Driver rules
The Town says a valid motor-vehicle driver's license is required to drive a golf cart. A person aged 15 or older without a valid license may drive on designated streets and recreation paths when accompanied in the front seat by a licensed driver aged 18 or older.
Restricted areas
Use only designated streets and recreation paths described by the Town. The dated official map and OSM-derived lines do not prove that every displayed segment is current, public, legal or safe for golf-cart travel.
